I've been looking for a single-serving granola bar recipe for that quick fix when I'm craving something sweet. Since I couldn't find a good recipe I just went into the kitchen and experimented myself. This one is super quick and easy, you don't even need a food processor.
Here is what you'll need:
- 4 TBSP (20 g) oats
- 1 TBSP (20 g) nut butter of choice
- 1/2 TBSP (8 ml) maple syrup
Heat the nut butter in the microwave to make it softer, then mix all the ingredients, wrap it in aluminium foil and put in the fridge or freezer to set. Enjoy!
This is just a very basic recipe, feel free to play around with the ingredients. You could replace a part of the oats or simply add shredded coconut, flax seeds, chopped up nuts, dried fruits, etc., the possibilities are endless. Or use honey instead of maple syrup, the sky is your limit ;)
Love,
Jeannie
